NY Solar Faire Spooky Happenings Market

759 Long Island Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729

Join us at a spooky daytime market full of 100+ returning and never before seen vendors on a huge outdoor field. Aside from our adorable adoptable pups, there will be live music, permanent jewelry, tattoo artists, henna artists, food trucks, healers, intuitive readers, tons of handmade items, oddities and curiosities, crystals, and all things Halloween! This event is outdoors and the rain date for this event is 11/1/2026.

You’ll meet some of our adorable foster dogs, who are all ages and sizes and looking for their forever homes. Learn all about the adoption process or fostering, and open your home to a pup in need.

We accept donations of new or gently used products, including crates, dog food, wee pads, collars/leashes, and anything dog related!

If you are considering adopting, please fill out an Adoption Application ahead of time to be pre-screened before the event.

All dog adoptions require an interview (either phone call or in person at the event), home video, landlord approval, and references check. If you have a resident dog already, we will ask for proof of spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Please email us at info@barrkli.org for further questions.
